How can I download the video?

Our videos are provided online viewing only and we do not provide any support on how to download it onto your computer for later viewing.

How much bandwidth does it use?

In general, SD use around 800kbps and HD use 1.5-2Mbps. This can vary greatly depending on how often the picture change.

When I play the video, it stop, then continue few seconds later, why?

This is usually caused by your Internet download speed. To work around it, you can start the video then hit pause. You will see the light grey bar continue moving forward. Wait for 10 seconds or so then hit play again. This will effectively ‘buffer’ more video onto your local computer before it play.

What is the video resolution?

We are currently encoding videos into two major resolutions.

  • 1280x720x30p (HD – High Definition)
  • 640x360x30p (SD – Standard Definition)

For older videos, they were encoded in 320x240x25p

What is the video quality?

All newly recorded videos are using high definition equipment and you can expect it is as good as you are watching a DVD. Some older videos were recorded using DV tapes and they are like watching it before digital TV arrived to our life.

Do you sell the ebook version?

Yes, we do, but we are against it. You will learn a lot better by watching and follow the steps. However, if you really want the transcript version of the video. Click here to order the ebook, it will cost you $17.

Can I play the videos with my Mac?

Absolutely, all videos are encoded using H.264 format which is very standard. This format also know as standard definition (SD) or high definition (HD).

Do you sell the videos in DVD?

Unfortunately our videos aren’t available in DVD form at the moment as the demand isn’t there. They may be available in the future if demand increases.

What broswers are supported?

We have tested with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. However, these browsers update few times a year so we can not guarantee it will work with you. Having said that, if you have any issue, please drop us a note and our technology team will gladly help you.
